Nicolas Batum, a veteran of 18 years in the league, has been part of some unusual seasons, but this one takes the cake. The Clippers were eliminated from the NBA Cup on Nov. 24 after falling to the Memphis Grizzlies, but it was a blessing in disguise. According to Batum, the elimination gave them plenty of time to regroup in December, during which they tallied their brutal 6-21 start. The coaching staff, led by Tyronn Lue, made every practice count and used the schedule to their advantage. They needed to endure a couple of losses, but after their huge win over the Los Angeles Lakers, everything started rolling. The next thing they knew, the Clippers were on a winning streak, and their season was back on track. Batum credits the 70% system reset for their resurgence, saying it was a major factor in their turnaround. 'We pretty much changed everything,' he said. 'I won’t say everything, but like a good 70% of what we have in place. We pretty much changed everything.' The Clippers are now on a roll, and it's all thanks to the hard work and dedication of their players and coaching staff. They're back on track, and they're not looking back.
